Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Party time in Omnissa for all senior management

As the company flows surely and steadily down the toilet, the Shankar decided it was a wonderful idea to send an email containing a large list of promotions he dished out after he canned a load of the slaves, gave them pay cuts and sent their roles over to Bangalore after having his arss handed to him by KKR for the ever dwindling profits.

Go to church every week. Go to temple and get the sacred thread to tie on your wrist. Monkey God protects against all evil forces of tantrric control. God Bless.

High caste leaders are experts in dark arts. The worship of evil spirits. S-x and ta---a way of control. Don't shake hands. Don't look into their eyes. Always wash hands and don't miss your shower after seeing them.

“If you speak out you will be put aside, this is what management is doing, the old VMware managers that threat people like trash.

Several members of Senior leadership must go , KKR must bring real leaders.”

Promotes all his cronies so the severance package is sweeter when they finally get moved on. The management team thinks it is just business as usual for them and they can keep under performing and maintaining the status quo.

Generally these people are cheap and loyal as a dog. Its not like UnitedHealthCare CEO who had to be taken out by a hit job after he did several insider tradings and DOJ investigations and hacks and total chaos in the largest health care insurer in the world.

You have to show these high caste leaders some incentive and they will do anything. They are not too expensive too. Hence their rule of the tech world. Loyal and cheap.

They have been trying to ki-l mainframes for the past 60 years. They just won't die. I think we will be talking about EUC for another 10 years. The high caste leaders know how to run such a dying tech for a decade. These are the same people who ran the British empire operations in India and Africa.

Its all smoke and mirrors. KKR trying to hide something. And the management is trying to hide something. The whole KKR deal is a show and tell to say that Broadcom is divesting and streamlining VMware. The whole thing doesn't make any sense. How can you separate EUC and vShpere? The show must go on. Make hay while the sun shines.

"You directly compete with intune."

My customers continue to transition from Workspace One to Intune. Microsoft isn't our partner; they are direct competition and have senior decision-maker relationships in the C-suite. Any proposal I submit will go nowhere, which is very frustrating. And, my promoted sales director is useless.

You directly compete with intune. It’s no longer free either but… how do you compare? >500k endpoints migrating from ws1 soon. Good luck.

Anyone working in EUC deserves all they get. Pretty much a dying solution which is niche at best. Growth is next to flat or declining.

I have noticed people disappearing out the door without too much concern for their legal rights for asking questions on the on the sanity of their decisions. Seems to be a bit of a do as I say and not as I do situation. I have heard whispers of legal cases against Omnissa for these kind of tactics largely down to the fact that HR don't seem to be qualified in the laws and privileges in the host countries as they are generally not operating in them. Either way , very nefarious behavior. I would recommend people start looking for other employment because I cannot see how this company can stay afloat using these kind of practices and I would not be surprised if KKR cut their losses and sell it post haste as a going concern. I must give credit to the leadership, they sure know how to wreck a company before it has even had a chance.

Shankar now appears to be buying loyalty with these selective promotions. Why now? KKR is trying to determine who to remove next in the Omnissa leadership team. They are still attempting to understand all the root causes of the revenue and profit decline. In contrast, Shanker is trying to buy time by hiding the most damaging operations data. Will KKR intervene and work around the loyalists so they can uncover the truth? It's unclear.
