It was supposed to be this dec24 for more % layoffs but it did not happen at the large scale.
As per management,
More blood bath coming in March 25.
This is a very valid question, budget is a big issue for ESG now.

Why are they doing every 2 weeks instead of all in one go
In California they're probably laying off people in small groups in order to skirt the requirements behind the WARN act. I think they can perform a workforce reduction under 50 to exploit the loophole.

To instill fear and avoid headlines. Not a single mention of Broadcom/vmware layoffs in the media - the strategy is working. I bet at least 15k are already gone from the VMware of yesteryear.
I don’t get why the ESG management keeps cutting headcount in India, especially when the U.S. has many remote employees who require a significantly larger budget to retain and are not necessarily irreplaceable.

Looks like 6th Dec is access cutoff date and 03 Jan as last day.

In India there is impact in multiple teams which we heard
