Severance

If you are unlucky to get laid off when you look at severance keep 2 things in mind. 1. Your health insurance money like tobacco free and annual check is paid out quarterly. Next is Feb. Request u compensated for that. 2. The annual ERA is deposited in Feb. Ask/demand that get prorated or is paid as well.

anyone know if severance is lump sum payout or over a period (like staying on payroll)?

If with the company only two years, there is probably a minimum of 4 weeks or so (like if someone is only with the company for 6 months).

How much to expect in severance if only 2 year old in the company?

They will definitely pay out a pro rated portion of the ERA contribution. I got let go in September and it was deposited to my ERA in October. But make sure it is in your separation agreement. Mine was written in there.
