Is this really happening? I’ve heard it a couple times already on this board and someone just mentioned it in the office…. Has any one heard anything concrete?

I left and went to my car. Whether is solved anything probably not. But movements start small. If we keep up the organization and eventually get a bigger group, maybe just maybe we can get a union drive or something.
For those that walked out, how are you feeling?
Did it accomplish what you hoped it would?
How many associates were outside with you?
so how'd this go for everybody?
Good luck guys 2 minutes
If Fiserv was smart, they would have had a food truck show up at 11:00. It would have deflated the situation. Too late now.
Let's make this real guys!! The walkout and just go to lunch if questioned.
30 minutes!!!
The most fun way to protest would be to plan an event: lunchtime, Friday before Christmas week, Berkeley heights, a flash mob of all associates gather outside the building and recreate the scene from How the Grinch stole Christmas. Everyone links hands and sings the movie song. Someone give a few different local news a heads up
Walk out at noon meet at Magic city!
I really hope ally of people walk out. I also hope Fiserv is watching cause we know they are reading this post. B/c if they are watching we know we are being heard
Yes we are
Suggestion: sit down strike. Come to work with a book, stay for a 9 hour day and just read and tap your keyboard every 30 sec but do NOTHING like work. And one of my team just quit the building. So retired and happy here. Get out NOW
There’s a link to a bunch on unions below. If you’re interested in doing something impactful, contact them anonymously and let them start the ball rolling. Do just walk out! It’s just going to help Fiserv with their end goal (firing people).
If enough people contact the unions listed below, things will start happening and Fiserv will not be able to touch you.
Starting a union in Georgia, USA, can be a challenging but rewarding process, especially since Georgia is a “right-to-work” state. This means employees cannot be forced to join or pay dues to a union as a condition of employment. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you organize quickly and effectively:
- Research and Understand Workers’ Rights
• Learn the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA): This federal law protects your right to unionize.
• Georgia labor laws do not interfere with your federal right to form a union.
• Understand your employer’s policies and how they may legally respond to unionization efforts.
- Build a Core Organizing Committee
• Identify trusted colleagues who are committed to unionizing.
• Develop a clear message about why forming a union is necessary (e.g., better wages, working conditions, job security).
• Divide responsibilities like outreach, research, and communication.
- Contact a Union for Support
• Reach out to established unions for guidance, resources, and legal support:
• AFL-CIO: They can connect you to a relevant affiliate union.
• SEIU (Service Employees International Union): They represent service industries.
• UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers): Useful for retail or food workers.
• They can provide professional organizers and legal advice.
- Build Employee Support
• Talk to coworkers about workplace issues and explain how a union can address them.
• Conduct discreet one-on-one conversations to avoid employer retaliation.
• Use anonymous surveys or petitions to gauge support.
- File a Petition with the NLRB
• Once you have at least 30% of employees signing union authorization cards, file a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to hold an election.
• The NLRB will verify the cards and schedule an election.
- Campaign for the Union
• Hold meetings to discuss union benefits and address any concerns.
• Counter any anti-union propaganda from the employer with facts and solidarity.
- Hold the Union Election
• The NLRB oversees the secret-ballot election.
• If the majority votes “yes,” the union is officially formed.
- Negotiate a Contract
• Work with union representatives to bargain with your employer for better wages, benefits, and working conditions.
Tips for Urgent Organizing
• Keep things confidential: Employers may try to dissuade unionizing efforts.
• Document everything: Record any employer interference or intimidation.
• Stay united: Employer pushback is common; solidarity is key.
If you need immediate assistance, contact a local labor rights attorney or the NLRB regional office for Georgia:

They’re trying to ‘trim the fat’, walking out will just get you fired. Unionize then walk out!
Please be mindful, especially if you have family to feed. The job market is in the sh-t show…
Avoid being fired.. If you hate working in here, I suggest to start job searching now. Make sure to do that while you still have a job.
I may get a lot of downvotes here, but a walkout means you are abandoning your job. There is no union to back you. You will be let go without any severance.
Do what you need to do but for a company to ask you to work a 45 hour week was part of the job description on job postings for many years.
Just walking out is meaningless. Need to have media coverage and actually impact a client event to get the attention you’re looking for from C-suite
As long as your title is employee they own you during your working hours. This would be the stupidest move you could make.
again if you walk out without making a statement to media/press include the payments press https://gonzobanker.com/ and alike your opening yourself up to being fired. Your walking out to voice your concerns about unfair working conditions and warning of lapses in regulated banking systems.
You have our support. Please organize and resist these draconian policies.
I would love to see this but think it's a futile effort and puts a target on you unless you keep waking.
I’ve moved on to a new job. If you’re going to “walk out” you should be prepared to keep walking. I’d wait til I had a new job before I’d walk out. There ARE other jobs out there. You can find one and you deserve a job where you are respected. But don’t just walk out. That’s playing into their hands.
Where are we meeting? I'm in, wearing a red polo shirt for this occasion.
if it “does” happen.. why noon? They’ll just think everyone going to lunch. Should do 10am
I mean it's at noon. We are just going to "lunch."
LET'S DO THIS!! and hope it's not just 3 people.
The 3 people that walk out will all be fired. Frank will smile. Instantly implement everyone 5 days a week and 9 hours a day. Yall think daddy Frank will change his mind, that’ll never happen. He is the biggest wa-ker in Fintech.
Together, people are unstoppable.
Divided they fail.
These days Folks are weak, only caring about their end of the boat.
Prove me wrong, please!
I hope someone has the ba$ls to do it
