Massive layoffs happening across the board in TCS North America

If you are on the bench and not found an engagement you will be layed off…no exceptions. The supervisors are being encouraged to pull out their knives and stab any people that have spoken up in the past. They want complete obedience with no talkback.
The best part is you will never be hired back into this steaming pile of dog sh-t, god damn antiquated mentality have run this company to the ground.
Get out now while you still have dignity and the US job market is picking up and say fu-k off to this stinking festering pile of sh-t.

I found a project as well but still they laid me off. They are laying off US Citizens and Permanent residents with cheap labor having H1B visas, L1 visas, F1 visas to improve their profits. Also they are having age discrimination too. They are taking away American jobs and replacing with cheap labor

Why are they not allowing you to join? They make money from you joining project. Doesn't seem very cost optimizing.

I found 2 projects. RMG did not allow me to allocate. HR and RMG are both brothers/sisters who are planning and doing this intentionally. It's one of the worst company I've worked for. Please don't join TCS. These guys only giving projects for g,c not h1b holders.

Various companies seem to be trimming TCS resources and TCS is acting badly with people who made them successful in the first place. RMG is a joke with no responses even after multiple attempts. I have even heard of people who were fired after working more than 20 years for the company and given only a few weeks. Even at that, when they found a project, RMG did not allow them to go forward, like other responses here.

HR in North America had told multiple people that they want them to stay yet, do nothing to find a project.

They are also not offering proper severance pay to long term employees. So how is it a good company to be in? Terrible attitude towards the people who make it work. I think HR is asked to not help, it is intentional and there are some deep issues going on, like bad agreements, and terrible financial planning.

So now they are imposing the cost of their won stupidity on people who work for them.

Same thing happened to me I found 3 projects while on bench period but still RMG team did not allow me to join and terminated my employment saying cost optimization

Well I found an engagement and was still terminated. In fact, more than one. But RMG told the account team I was maybe not available, then not available, and when I asked CRICKETS or I'll look into it or I'll reach out. Then I was terminated because RMG could not find a role that matched my skill set. And HR was on copy and was silent and would not help.
