“Out with the old”

In staying with the Fiserv standard of “Out with the old”

Our Director “ surprisingly retired early” was replaced in the blink of an eye.

We had our first meeting with our Director today. She wasn’t shy and got straight to the point with everyone on the call to witness. Anyone remote ( about 8 out of 26) that isn’t close to 1 of the 4 offices that she named would be losing their jobs unless they are willing to relocate.

Heartbreaking to watch the expressions of the folks impacted and equally as startling to watch this new director with zero compassion deliver this heartbreaking news these people all within the first 5 minutes of a 30 minute call

if the "old" person was anywhere close to a decent person, its to be expected they replace them with an a--hole.

We have remote on GBS and told safe. We know that's a lie

I have 2 people in my team that are 100% remote and no where remotely close to an office.

My guess that they will eventually be forced to relocate or leave.

This sounds like the Risk group in Caard Services, one of the few groups left with remote employees.

I’m surprised your team still has remotes left.

At least she is being honest. She had a hard task and she was executed it. I don’t blame her. It’s better than those who try to talk sweet and then kick you in the @$&&!
