Jane's message today seemed like Santa just gave her a lump of coal in her stocking this year. People told her what they are feeling, and it was not all rainbows and puppy dogs. you can't explain away how much your employees dislike your management style. I know at my low level I will never see the consolidated results, but i can only imagine how horrible they were.

All citi employees should be made aware of this thread so that they know what gimmicks are played to manipulate the outcome of the Voe.

+4 This is one reason why there's incongruity and a disconnect between the artificially high ratings and the Comments.
An OP posted that their managers were wondering why the ratings were high yet the Comments were Bad or extremely Negative.
Obviously as Psychometrics shows, the Survey takers were Lying (to protect their AS$es and jobs because we all know the VOE is Not confidential). The employees LIED and rated questions high or positively but wrote Negative Comments sl@mming Citi.
It's similar to getting back a Test with 80%+ red marks on the errors/mistakes, yet getting an A or B grade on the Test.
If 80% of the Test/Survey is wrong, you only got 20% correct, which means Citi FAILED the Test/Survey !
We all know employees do Not trust the VOE to be "Confidential" because it's NOT. The VOE is used by Citi and "managers" to retaliate against employees who do Not drink the Fvcked Up Po!soned Citi Koolaid, up to and including threats, bullying tactics and Firings disguised as "Layoffs".
And so, due to this fear employees will give higher ratings than they would actually prefer to give. For example, rating questions 6,7,8,9 instead of 5 or lower. The field of Psychometrics measures bias and lying by the Test/Survey takers, and takes these measurements into account when analyzing the Test/Survey results. But we all know Citi will Not disclose these measurements to the employees, let alone the media and investing public.
The Lying needle must be off the charts! This is like the BullSh!t Meter needle breaking the BullSh!t Meter device! https://stock.adobe.com/images/vector-illustration-of-a-meter-detecting-levels-of-bullsh-t-at-low-medium-or-high/106996237
You don’t see the full results of the VOE for spin control. There is a team of MD’s, HR and folks from marketing that work together on spin control. Controlling the optics on how things are perceived. All working together to minimize the damage of anything negative.
You’ll see only what they want you to see when it comes to the VOE or anything else for that matter.
They normally share them publicly and during town halls. Multiple people commented on the post calling them out about not posting the full results. They definitely are not sharing them for a reason.
Hate the VOE and all the complaining and asks and being harassed to complete the bureaucratic nonsense..It is WORK..and The entire Culture under Jane and historically..it is mismanaged and the regulators concur...
Didn't they used to publish actual results? All I've seen so far are some overprocessed bullet points.
My managers asked why the comments were all bad and the ratings were not. They said it didn't make sense for them not to match. Sounds like people were scared on the rating and more open on comments this year. Lol. I agree, there probably will be a mid-year VOE next year.
VOE is BS
They were banking on good results from the new and improved VOE until word got out about it.

Mark my words, they will try the same thing next year as well. Twice actually. A mid year min-VOE and the later VOE.
And remember, most people do not trust that it's anonymous. So the real truth is actually worse than what is represented.
They'll beat the analysis into submission. Either by omitting the really negative and focusing on the better results, or explaining away the negative results and put a good spin on it. Of course, there's always the shift of responsibility of the poor metrics back on the employees and our accountability to fix it. Based on wheat we have seen from SR management in the past few years I don't see any other way it plays out.
Not really, it still seems plastic and not really saying much. Her response is safe and neutral. I wish there was more Info. The VOE may be heavily filtered once released to the employees.
