Hired into a new role recently! Am I at more risk for being let go?

If your position got through the hiring freeze, there is a good chance they knew they needed it, but of course it all depends.
Sounds like it's more dependent on what type of role you have (how close to frontline operations are you) and are you a manager that could have their position merged into another role.
