Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Get ready for the blood bath

With Pats recent firing (not retirement) there will be massive changes coming. Intel has zero direction and clue what's its doing anymore. The fact Dave and Michelle were named CO CEOs is a massive failure and scramble to fill a gap. Lip-Bu Tan wanted way more cuts and disagreed with Pats leadership. Petty sure the board agrees and those changes will be happening in 2025. Jump ship while you can, you have two clowns running the ship now.

cadence vs intel. where did you get these crazy ideas that he will be better. his best success is a small design tool vendor. Awful. By the way, he came to the intel board after Pat became CEO. No. hope that products business will be acquired by qcom or apple. Large businesses with experience developing advanced ASICs in high volume. Please, stop this nonsense that Tan will be better.

CEO must retire by 65

just before Pat joined, this restriction was removed (most likely by pat's request)

@ahh Wasn't that already revoked when Pat hired on?

In all reality, do we really want another dinosaur?

Absolutely no chance of Lip-Bu Tan considering Intel bylaws state that the CEO must retire by 65. Sorry Lip is 64, and he appears to be a clown. Keep dreaming losers!

Lip Bu Tan would complete the headcount reduction needed and would almost certainly break up the company.

These were the points of disagreement he had with Pat, and Pat being forced to resign may well soon be followed by Lip Bu Tan coming back to the Board and maybe as CEO.

If he has enough Board influence he doesn't have to be CEO, and may not even want that job.

Is Pat returning any of the $170 mil he stole from the employees? What a fraud!!

It now makes sense that Tan resigned earlier, fully supported this!

Intel should hire Lip-Bu Tan to fix Intel. Cadence was in same cr-ppy situation after Mike Fisher (another Intel trained CEO) sc--w up so bad, Lip-Bu Tan took over after Fisher fired and right the ship.
