Lots of liars on here haha
Liars. I got a job outside of tech to train other people with less than 6 hours per day. I got hot coffee serve up every 2 hours to keep me energetic for my new job.
It’s interesting to see who is whining about anti Intel bias.
It’s the hordes of mediocre engineers at Intel that couldn’t make it anywhere else.
Of course, if you have any real talent, you can get a job pretty easily.
Half of my group are working in Nvidia today, maybe you are just not a very good engineer.
No actually cares, only Intel employees are obsessed with Intel. The rest of the world barely notices. It is just a tough job market right now and will be until the first 100 days of the new administration plays out. After that it will either get even worse or slowly start to improve. I think the US economy is in for shock and awe for the next 2 years. The mid term elections will tone down the aggressiveness and balance things out a little. Stocks are out performing companies so a correction could be in order. Read a little bit about what Warren Buffet is up to. He has accumulated over $325B in cash reserves to swoop in and buy when stock prices get incredibly cheap. Working at Intel su-ks but it is better than being unemployed. A lot of VSP and ERP recipients are probably regretting their decisions or soon will.
Not true I got 2 offers one month after being notified I was being let go
Not true... Just spend time learning and brushing up your skills (soft skills and technical)..
I got offers every week from FAANG, but I do not want to work 16h/day, I like my 8.
If you are bad, no one will hire you.
Cheerio
