Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Super Micro Computer, Inc.

Super Micro is going to crush Dell. That will cause more layoffs, I am a feared. Then Dell will be ripe for buy out.

I don't think SMCI is worried about Dell.
I don't think Nvidia gives a rat's a-s about either insomuch as it's able to buy gpus from them.

My thoughts are that Nvidia won't touch SMCI because you have no clue how much to pay to acquire them. They're on their third (?) accounting firm because the previous two have fired THEM as a client, due to an inability to trust any accounting numbers they were given.

I think the next move that Dell's ELT will make is to thin the herd some more, especially by letting the old EMC products go, for the most part, possibly selling off storage to another company. Then they'll focus on selling itself to Nvidia as their cheap, hardware assembly arm. It appears to be the Dell way to 'maximize value'.

Ah yes, the mighty SMCI, down from $118 to $30 in the blink of an eye. No accounting firm will touch them, numbers not being produced on time and all numbers presented so far are incorrect and fabricated...sounds like they are unbeatable and poised to take over the world.

Dell only had AI story due to Supermicro's slip up.
Dell the last few months has been the fall-back. Not sure if that's going to continue moving forward

"SuperMicro had their shot through first mover advantage and they sc--wed up with stupid unethical behavior. They are demonstrating why a certain level of overhead is needed to keep your firm in control."

Their stock is on a run... and word is that NVDA is going to acquire SMCI. If/Once that happens, Dell's AI story is dead

They'll be okay, but Dell, HP, and ODMs will regain share. Once the Ai build out slows, it will go back to old times where SuperMicro is the dollar store product.
