The Chief Clown Officer is out, but the Intel circus shall continue.
Where is the transition plan?
Pat was an amazing CEO. I would argue better than Andy Grove in many ways. Andy didn't inherit a company several years behind in technology. Pat caught Intel up on manufacturing, and competition is going into the dust, start date 2025. Pat did his job. Thank you Pat!
The board asked him to stay for the transition and he declined.
If he really cared about the future of the company then why throw down the badge?
To me, his leaving the company to D-mb and D-mber is worse than the out of control spending he enabled these past few years. Just the decision to ramp the Ireland fab on 1276 should have gotten someone terminated.
I really like the vision but the execution was sloppy and further degraded the company.
How is his cheerleading squad going to handle it?
Fired twice from the same company for similar mess up although of different magnitude. He will be remembered as fired twice.
Amen ... sudden quit without any successor. Where are the a-s kissers go now? Is it the chain reactions from Binden Harris administration failures?
Retires? He was obviously fired.
that vsp package is looking pretty good now. :)
Unreal.

Yeah I'm sure it was hard enjoying their millions and the premium turkey.
The ELT and board are all crooks.
Fking guy after ISPing thousands of employees and enjoying retirement $$$
Wow guessing the Gelsinger family had a bittersweet Thanksgiving
He was initially fired over the Larrabee disaster that threatened intel's strategic cpu roadmap. They hired him again as CEO and they got another disaster. This is insanity. The entire executive leadership and board need to be replaced.
