Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Biggest Tech Acquisition will now happen….. seriously, who will acquire Intel in the next month?

Pat is now out of the way, the chips funding has been secured, the finance and design leaders are in place to facilitate the transition to a buyer…..it is happening…..who will it be?

Analysts are expecting Foundry to be split into a separate company.

Intel has to retain majority ownership for the gov't welfare check, but there are many way to do that.

Some (or maybe all) of the product divisions have had external interest, which Pat was trying to stop. With him gone some chucks of the conglomerate will be carved out.

He wanted to keep the old intel together and that is untenable. It only ever worked because of the 80% market share in PC and Datacenter. Those days are not coming back..ever.
