Heres how the dutch destroyed it, entangled it in their web of dutch politics, mind numbing worthless VARs filled with dutch attendees and bloated bogus opinions, and loaded nearly every team leader and manager with no nothing ex pats.
They also took all the cash generation and amazing head start in deepwater and bungled it on garbage projects elsewhere.
There were so many ex-pat couples coming into New Orleans it was unbelievable, the cost of those employees and sending there kids to the best private
Schools while local employees bag lunched it was BS. They lived a huge lifestyle upgrade while contributing nothing to the bottom line.
Curious about the reasoning how the Dutch destroyed SepCo.
Shell Offshore Inc was amazing til these dutch b-ms with V@&$na power infiltrated and destroyed New Orleans and Houston
Stout post!
Another testament to the quality of staff Shell is attracting in recent times
Google Walter’s email, apologize, and then you can be my friend,
Where do I Google how many friends you have?
I only know one American who loved Walter enough to defend him like that, but he retired not too long ago after many years of terrorizing the younger reservoir engineers. That you, J.C., lurking around here?
More friends than you I’d wager. Google it yourself if you don’t believe me. That was a direct quote from an email Walter sent. All the dirty laundry was aired thanks to leaks and discovery from the investigation. If you don’t know how to use Google perhaps you could ask one of your younger colleagues to show you.
So you don’t have many friends I guess.
Okay Boomer. Close, Gen X actually. I was on the payroll when Walter was trying to “repair the irregularities”. Maybe he shouldn’t have said “I am becoming sick and tired about lying about the extent of our reserves issues and the downward revisions that need to be done because of far too aggressive/optimistic bookings." in an email. Nobody likes a liar.
Walter VdV was trying to repair the irregularities on the books. Shows how much the Zoomer and Millennial id--ts actually know.
Walter VdV was one of the best? He quit in disgrace during the reserves crisis when it came to light he was cooking the books. Try again.
No. Not joking. Zoomers and millennials losers don’t understand.
"Can we turn it around and discuss the best executive teams in Shell we experienced? For me it was undoubtedly Rich Patarozzi’s SEPCO LT followed shortly by WdV’s SEPCO LT."
Surely you are joking ... Good one though !
I repeat: stout post. It’s a testament to the quality of staff Shell has attracted in recent times!
Great. Why don't you start a different thread? Blow Rich and everyone else in the company. NOT THE POINT OFF THIS THREAD.
Rich’s team is the reason many of us even have jobs.

All of them.
