Visa laid off 100s of tech workers but hired “Chief of Staff” for each VP. Each CoS is nothing but glamorized secretary. All they do is su-k up to VPs and make them feel pompous. Also, the CoS have title of Directors and are highly paid. All they do is maintain Excel spreadsheets and make PowerPoints- even those are taken from the engineers who originally created them. These nonsensical CoS are basically non-technical people who lick VPs behinds and maintain their schedules and help setup their meetings etc. what a joke. VISA wastes money on these stupid personnel yet laid off highly skilled workers.

No one wants to admit this, but these roles are often filled by diverse candidates. Helps to bolster hiring %’s in areas that traditionally struggle to meet company targets.

Never know, the extent of financial corruption that might have occurred within the company? Usually, Corrupt need cronies to coverup and hide their deep pockets.

How about firing useless extremely, over-paid VPs and the CEO himself ? Some of them are utterly useless. In fact, all of them are.
Main strength of any company is the worker bee-class people; the developers, the database admins, the systems engineers. All VPs know is talking and giving out cr-ppy advises.
VP need to increase their headcount but cannot hire devs for useless roles, so they hire non-technical people for useless roles, getting desperate..
