For years as a plant level employee I have complained about corporate bloat and middle heaviness. Be careful what you wish for applies here and I've been following this thread over the break . I have seen positions done efficiently by 1 person expand to 6 who have lost touch with basic operations of a plant. "Yes men" filtering into upper management positions overpromising results and burying failures have created this and my heart is breaking as I watch invaluable resources terminated in the IT world and the boots on tge ground are left with eager but green resources in the wake.
