How can Advance leadership and Board live with themselves. They are clueless how to run a Auto parts aftermarket.
They don't understand how, AutoZone, O'Reilly's, NAPA and all the other independents are kicking their butts.
It's only time before they close them all.
You can't keep on cutting service to your customers, you have to have overnight delivery to slow moving skus. Have to have fast delivery, you have to have knowledgeable people. They are cutting it all. What they need to do is fire board and CEO and get people who know how to be the best!!

I used to buy a lot from the Yakima store. when it was C Q . I went in there one time only ,after it was Advance auto. said i use to buy a lot of stuff here and they used to give me good deals on stuff. the arogant manager said i dont have to give deals to anybody. so i said to my self i don,t have to go here again. they sold one year warrenty on alternaters and starters. i go to napa we have 4 .they offer lifetime long as you own it better Quality on all nice people too. the advance store in yakima closed up about a week ago and 6 more in wa st. sorry cant spell. have not bought a diehard in 40 years better deals around

AAP upper management is completely disconnected from the store level and does not understand how to run a business. Always changing strategies, no consistency with policies and procedures, these cubicle mo--ns have destroyed a great business. Put real world people in charge and get rid of the overpaid water cooler drinking cheerleaders.
After 20 years with Advance Auto Parts, it’s disheartening to see how mismanagement at corporate and field leadership levels has driven the company into chaos. Constant strategy shifts, labor hour cuts, and unrealistic expectations have left stores without the support they need to succeed. Priorities are misaligned, focusing on initiatives like DEI without addressing core issues like outdated systems, poor product assortment, and insufficient staffing. Meanwhile, we consistently fail to compete with O’Reilly’s and AutoZone, who seem to have the resources and strategies we lack.
The refusal to open new stores further highlights the company’s stagnation while competitors expand their footprints. Adding insult to injury, corporate employees visit stores and distribution centers acting like saviors, completely disconnected from the challenges we face. Morale is at an all-time low, and without a drastic change in leadership and strategy, it’s hard to imagine a bright future for Advance Auto Parts.
Shouldn’t have expanded into markets that were already crawling with rival companies. They can’t even fix their own equipment in the warehouse. Only time the walkies get maintenance is when they break. Plus they have bad pto and attendance policies. They fired my coworker for being in the hospital.
Yeah, the new CEO and CFO are a joke. Dont know if they are in the same category as the Previous Pepsi regime. AAP has been like a prost---te for the last 20 years.
It is sad to see this company spiraling downhill. So many good people have invested so many years of their lives to help build the company and it is all being taken away.
