So. What’s next for the Waters employee?
How about digital trackers and shock collars?
Two minutes away from your work station?
Aaaaand ZAP! Just a quick reminder to get back to work and earn the Christmas voucher. They apparently work very effectively. All one has to do is just look up the video on the interne…!
Oh wait. Never mind.
Or how about a decent Christmas party? Maybe one that wasn’t organised by the compan…….
Oh wait. Never mind that one either… Or maybe a grade system that’s fair to everyone where people actually get paid for the work they do and how well they do it?…. Oh wait. Never mind. I guess management will just have to keep looking after their little buddies….
It’s still a great place to work though.

At least we can use oooodit’s cricket field this spring and summer while working in the office.
those trackers were so terrible even the directors were telling us to take them off and hide them in the corners. never forget that corporate spent nearly $10 million on those and forced us all to use them even after covid because they couldn't admit it was an enormous waste of company money.
Trackers were tested during the pandemic. I will never forget this nightmare. We had no chance to keep our distance, and the trackers were ringing non-stop. After 2 hours, my head was swelling from the sounds. Harassing an employee in the name of "concern" for his health. Reporting this was ignored, none of the managers dared to react.
Sounds like wilmslow. Milford doesn’t get a Christmas party or a Christmas voucher…
“Interesting way to destroy whatever morale you have left.”
Hard to get lower than rock bottom, but if anyone can find a way, it’s Waters’ leadership.

“Does this apply globally? Haven’t seen anything in the US yet”
Not sure about globally, but definitely US. They won’t do an announcement to try to an avoid too much backlash, but it’s happening. Talk to your manager or HR.

My manager told me after the last town hall about Tuesday-Thursday in office. They said that there isn’t anything they can do and they expect a mass exodus. That news was supposed to cascade down because leadership knew there would be a riot if it was conveyed at town hall.
When did they announce three days in the office?
Captain column packer we are tracing Ur IP address and we will find you
Presumably talking about the three days in office for everyone. Tue, We’d and Thursday core days. Doesn’t affect most people but probably affects eg software people the most, wonder how many will leave.
Did we miss something? What is this related to?
What is this in regards to? Did corporate announce new tracking measures?
At least the company kept its word to remain flexible with WFH after the pandemic…oh wait, never mind. Best case, maybe you can carpool with the CEO and his driver to the office everyday.
