Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Rehired after lay-offs

After 10 years of service I got laid off by UHC back in October 2019 (ah, good times) and went to work for a small health insurer who is now about to be bought by UHC

When I start again at UHC will I have to start at 23 days PTO? Or will I get to start at 28 PTO days?

When I start will I have to wait another year for 401k matching to kick in again?

I can't remember what the documents said about rehires and credited service years because I told myself I would never apply to work here again. Kicking myself for not thinking of this possibility

I would hate to be in a spot where uhc is buying my company. That is where our problems began with change Healthcare. They will tear your company apart.

When worked at Cigna know people that came back were allowed to keep previous status (years, pto so on)

When they brought out the company I worked for previously, we got to keep our tenure. I returned to United about two years ago and they added my previous years of service under that company so I have the max PTO. I believe 401k matching was the same, fully vested due to previous years of service.
