@tmk+1vI1B33v When is someone going to have the guts to ditch GC? She is a lightweight!! It would need a new CEO to take her aside and tell her the game is up, and there are jobs going packing supermarket shelves which she would be fit for. The only hope this company has would be a completely new leadership team, but that's not going to happen. It's depressing to have an LT for whom you have no respect or confidence.

Theres more than just digital in technology....the whole of applied sciences for starters.
The 17k in tech is mostly external consultants like wipro who were brought in during reinvent. Eyton didn't want less people so he let staff go and we hired loads of externals to do tech for us, but basically just fleece us. It's not 3k staff jobs. We barely have that many total in technology as it is.
@3xlw+1vI1B33v Buying time for what? If they’re keeping the same strategy things are just going to get worse
Blame external consultants....I admire the attempt to distance oneself from it, dude was heading the NS then CEO office when all the consultants were invited so as all LT members pretty much + they are saying strategy is fine and they are on the right path...they are buying time....
Bernard and his cronies continue to have disastrous consequences for BP and negatively impacting the lives of so many. Bernard favors LAR who gets promoted unfairly all the way from an engineering manager in the North Sea to an EVP in like 10 years. She wrecks the organization, over hires and creates a mismanaged mess, and of course because she's a crony nobody ever dares disagree with her. Now she's out and according to an earlier post 3000 people!!! will have to be laid off. Mind boggling what was allowed to happen in this company because of that a$$hole.
It’s way better listening to Emeka than LAR
I don’t understand the discontent comment? If you run a sh-tshow and overspend do you not expect him to come in and fix that mess?
He blamed external consultants, and yet GC is still on the BP LT? Yeah that checks. They’re all responsible.
Pinned the blame for reinvent on external consultants.
Technology going from 17,000 to 12,000.
A great deal of discontent in the room, so I hear.
Sounds like "digital" is a right old mess.
