What is the status with your new hires? We see our new hires at training and then the disappear, forever. I guess collecting unemployment is easier than going to work. Our selling floor population is not much bigger than earlier in the year. This is our future. We are in trouble!

It looks like we are using AI to do our phone screening and hiring. Not the good AI, but the early version of AI that makes pictures of people with seven fingers and extra limbs. Half the people being hired by Talent Acquisition don't even make it through their scheduled on boarding and training shifts this year.
We are turning s many people that we can't even fit their replacement hires into the on boarding schedule each week and are having to push them out two weeks just to ensure we have the staff.
We have 75 percent turnover.
Need to a) dump phone hire b) pay more c) do an Indeed hiring blast early in the season which was good in turn out for my store. d) have the ability to say DO NOT REHIRE if a seasonal employee su-ked
