I was laid off last week after my organization was disbanded and the US team was benched. It is a nerve racking joke. RMG never responds. HR is here on a visa and never responds and when you do get an answer its a "I'll look into it". After interviews with potential accounts, I get a jig with a WON and REG and RMG tells the account team I am not available and would not tell me or them why not. Never got a response. When I pushed it and questioned what was going on, I was terminated. Is this happening to others?

Same thing happened to me. RMG was useless, you have to find openings, and when you find RMG says associate is not available, even when account team has provided the WON. They need to be taken to court for the lack of transparency. When you stand your ground, then you are told today is your last day at 5:00 pm EST.
Why is HR here on a visa? Is that a highly skilled position for which there are no US applicants?

I also got terminated after 2 weeks on bench before Thanksgiving. One account team was willing to onboard me, HR/RMG didn’t allow them and called me on cell phone at 5 PM saying today was my last day. I also didn’t receive any mail stating reason for termination.
This is happening for all of us local hire. These guys are playing games. I am also been cheated. Account team trying to allocate but RMG rejected. And they are not replying on any emails.
Same thing happened with me. Account team was ready to allocate me but in the background US RMG team keeps telling them that I am not available. After 3 weeks of time pass , they let me go last week.
