Now that we have two from Noble Energy on our board. Those guys got big packages and gave their company away. My friends over there have really never recovered.

Corporate consolidation is plaguing the industry. More oil is being produced in the US than ever before, and yet total jobs are stagnating, wage growth is seeing catastrophic impairment, and layoffs are rampant. Great for shareholders! Bad for the people creating the value.
Interesting to think about all the consolidation in the last 6-7 years. Maybe it's always been like that but ge-z it's a real thing.
