Why has Cisco ELT taken so long to acknowledge that product leadership was lacking - not on the side of building products. But building products with feature sets that customers actually flock back to Cisco to get.
The ELT missed several trains going back to Chambers time. Even today we’re saying yes our competitors are doing better in x and y spaces but not making the link of what we are lacking. Tell it to our engineers to build it better packaged solutions. Tell them what the customer needs in spades of details. Otherwise smash their brain with customer meetings to realize what is lacking.
Customers today want to pay for products that work better for them not only help Cisco’s numbers.
It’s feels like we sell great tasting chocolates and the competitor comes in with chocolates and cheese and wine in a package that wows the customer.
Ridiculous Cisco grow up like yesterday.
