Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Stuck in the grind

I used to love my job, I felt like it mattered. It gave me a true sense of purpose, and I actually enjoyed what I did. Now, it’s mostly just busy work. With each layoff, I brace myself, kind of hoping it’ll be my turn, but somehow I keep hanging on. I don’t know how, but it says a lot about the mess this place is right now.

a lot of us were more than fine coming into work and do an honest shift, but over the years , a lot has changed for the worse, mm lost its way and it is still one step forward and two steps back, keep doing what you are doing with pride in yourself , you are the most important person to look after , always remember though that in this company you are just a number,

Executives in roles they don’t belong in nor do they have the experience to make the decisions needed. Consultant kids stating the obvious that executives won’t move forward costing us millions. Layoffs for Christmas presents and continued pay cuts for the people doing the work. It’s nice to have a job though!
