EMEA - is anyone who was laid off still waiting to sign the serverance/ non disclosure/ compromise agreement?
Colleague finished three months ago and still hasn’t received anything…it was supposed to be signed before he left….

As not signed, no severance money. is anyone else in this situation ?
On such things Citi will give you a very short window and timeline to “sign” your name to such documents and give themselves a very long window to do the very same and even then dance quite eloquently in the grey areas. They may have 30 days to sign a certain document and very well may do so but who’s to say that while its signed that they don’t hold on to it for another 30 placed on a pile of other such papers.
“Ok, we signed it but we won’t mail it for another 30-60 days” , is such a thing being done? After all the longer they don’t payout the severance, the longer they can draw interest on that money. One has to ask that question.
Funny though that the big wigs who got let go with the rather large payout matching their already overly inflated salaries got their severance pretty quick I imagine compared to the lower end folks who got the boot.
