Thread regarding Marathon Oil Corp. layoffs

It is done, like it was meant to be

Well, Marathon oil is done, like it was meant to be. The writing was on the wall when the company split from downstream. Then it brought an ego maniac to run the company. Then is focused on onshore US like a junkie who could not get enough of it. And it never changed the culture of extracting whatever it could from its partners and host governments. Then it brought a Noble exec to the board who developed a competency on putting lipstick on the pig and sell it cheap. Sorry folks, all the signals were there. I hope you extracted as much bacon from the pig as you could. Sayonara.

@gofl do share APA dirt. Apache is concerned about Suriname producibility. Significant reservoir and fluid challenges that will challenge advertised production rates
