Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

Think the Cuts Are Over? Here’s a taste of 2025

I want to share a prediction for 2025 in response to questions about potential future layoffs.

The current strategy implemented by the company is expected to persist, perhaps with some variations. While the new operational structure is largely established, the company will likely continue to divest products, and businesses that don’t align with its supposed strategy or that present even minimal challenges. Even minor complexities seem to be problematic for the decision-makers.

As a result, you should anticipate the possibility of significant removals across extensive areas in 2025. It may not be about reducing specific team sizes but rather about completely eliminating teams associated with certain products or business areas. This trend appears to be ongoing and extremely critical.

Please take this seriously—the situation is genuinely severe, and the process shows no signs of stopping.

Management is being trained to make you quit! Utilize your benefits while you can! They do not care about you, at all!

Some may be invested more, may have more to lose financially. Just be kind.

I will leave you with words from George Orwell because it's clear that you should probably rethink your entire life:

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

Honestly the most terrifying part of this thread, is the people ridiculing each other. It’s anonymous, and commenting is optional. I think what is most obvious here is that people view their positions differently. Some may be invested more, may have more to lose financially. Just be kind.

No offense, but the OP reads like an AI-generated severe-weather report, lol..

‘The current (‘STORM ‘) is expected to persist, perhaps with some variations…’

‘As a result, you should anticipate the possibility of significant (‘DAMAGE’) across extensive areas in 2025.’

‘This trend appears to be ongoing and extremely critical. Please take this seriously—the (‘WEATHER’) is genuinely severe, and the (‘STORM’) shows no signs of stopping.’

We’re already living in the Eye of the Hurricane—no need for predictions….

Just take cover and evacuate ASAP!!!!

Fine, we’re here to do as we’re told and not to think. Fu-k it, we’ll execute exactly as you say—that’s clear to everyone and not up for debate. But thinking isn’t something you can just switch off, so just because I’m doing what you pay me to do doesn’t mean I agree with it.

From the C-Suite:

You decided to stay, now, shut the fu-k up and do as we tell you. We don't pay people to think but to comply!
