I am on the bench and I just started here at Accenture. Do I need to be worried or is this in prep for the new year projects?

Yup, hustle to get off the bench and or look for work elsewhere. Network your ars off. This is exactly the time of year they look to get get people off the books before H2 begins.
Absolutely. Not bringing revenue means out the door.
I would keep your eyes open for roles at other companies and do not trust that you’ll be moved onto a project quickly. The longer you’re on the bench the greater the risk, especially if you just started.

First search for job outside... long bench means being forced to resign if not willing to accept a mismatched roles (read band client and overwork) in remote places...
