I give it 10 years maximum. I think within a decade, CSG will cease to exist as a company. There will be a continuous slow trickle of customers replacing Citrix products with W365, AVD, F5, A10, Zscaler, etc. Then a critical mass will be reached, and the slow trickle will turn into a rapid gush. Citrix will join the ranks of the companies that once were - like Blockbuster, RadioShack, Circuit City, and Lehman Brothers.

YoY sales and retention and adoption says otherwise. Customer satisfaction is also high. Sounds like more negative fantasies by people that hate Citrix.
Do a search for WebFOCUS jobs on LinkedIn or Indeed. There aren't any, apart from software admin roles. Nobody wants WF developers anymore, which tells me companies have no plans for further development and/or are abandoning the product.
It's one thing to be a developer trying to land a job and dealing with competition and lowball offers. It's another when you're a developer and there aren't any jobs to apply to.
Tibco is dead: https://www.forrester.com/blogs/boomi-dismembers-the-tibco-frankenstein/
Spotfire (not Tibco, different BU) is broke. They did outsource trainings to partners https://www.spotfire.com/resources/taf-education. Elearning courses are Youtube videos, several years old.
Spotfire and IBI consultants have been dismissed (or quit before being laid off) but most did quickly get a job in partners or even were hired by end-user customers they were working for.
Nobody needs HCL when plenty of experienced good technicians are available.
TK is busy managing the debt https://news.bloomberglaw.com/private-equity/citrix-parent-poised-to-sell-biggest-leveraged-loan-deal-of-2024
Vista can't find anyone interested in buying CSG so they are looking for slicing it into a continuation fund https://www.secondariesinvestor.com/vista-eyes-large-scale-continuation-fund-for-cloud-software/. Apparently unsuccessfully until now.
That sure won't take 10 years to collapse, it has already started.
Citrix gotta wait other products acquired before Citirx needs to destroyed first , IBI ,TiBCO customers are already moving to Tableu ,PowetBI , they sold professional service to HCL now HCL is struggling to find projects because many long term customers didn’t want to do business with CSG
They will keep innovating and growing. The future is bright.
The BUs may go but CSG will be around they will keep buying software at the end of its life cycle and mile them till they go away. But CSG will stay.
