Last day of work?

What's the last day of work for those affected by the September layoff in the USA?

Everyone posting nasty responses is a loser who should get laid off and never rehired.

OP, it was November 15th.

So many on here are itching for any excuse to be aggro.

@OP and @1wyi - Listen kid carefully, this isn’t a news channel. This is a collaborative place for Cisco geniuses to gather and exchange managing their careers, and top of mind. So mind your own business unless you have genuine concerns and want to contribute.

None of your business! Learn to ask question with reasons why is that important. Why the date matters, or is it just your FYI, you know you have some reason behind your question and you AREN’T telling. Be polite and be gentle.

The day they were notified in Sept. Duh.

Did you mean the last day of employment? That’s discussed in many threads on this site. It’s not that hard to find. Approx 30 days after notification w/ the balance of 60 days paid “in leu” of notice or 60 days after notification, depending on the package offered. Solving the math problem to calculate the date is left to the reader.

Pro tip: go to LinkedIn and search on @cisco

There you’ll see everyone’s “today is my last day at Cisco” or open to work posts

I searched for the answer, and couldn't find one. This is exactly why I'm asking. Please, don't assume it's a big pleasure to argue with other anonymous people here, who, instead of simply providing the date, start asking questions as if I were requesting their SSN. If I could avoid this very special pleasure, I would.

No one is paranoid. It’s a d-mb question and you want to be spoon fed kiddo.

Now simply scroll down and find your answer because it’s been discussed.

Because I'm interested to know for a reason. And I'm surprised why you ask that, and why nobody answered to my question. Like, I'm not asking your SSN number, guys. Why to be paranoid?
