So BMC is splitting into two companies. is this a good move or not? will there be cuts in April as have been the case the last few years, and rumors are that a company wanted to take over just one part (hence maybe the split now). What are people thoughts??

They finally lost the war. It was just a matter of time. They spent lots of money on marketing over the years putting lipstick on pigs (legacy products) and a new marketing spin on same old cr-p each year.
Everyone there is doomed!
