When Macy’s has extended stores hours between Thanksgiving and Christmas, we have more than our normal amount of workers who callout, quit, arrive late or get their schedule changed.

That’s exactly what seasonal employees are hired for. More employees are expected to be sick, call out post holiday and for burnout.
