Thread regarding Ford layoffs

US EV Infrastructure

Has anyone looked up to see the progress of the US EV infrastructure lately?

It's depressing to see that we now have less than 200,000 EV chargers. The government is planning to have 500,000 EV chargers by 2030. Sounds good you may ask?

Do you know how many EV chargers China already in place for their EV infrastructure? 7,200,000 EV chargers as of 2023. Holy smoke.

Offering EV home chargers for EV buying customers was a brilliant move for Ford. With expanding commercial and public charger availability and integrating into Model e apps, this is how we turn the tables on EV pain points and any anxiety.

We are on the right track, just taking a little more time than the plan.

China builds a new coal plant every week to power their grid and those ev chargers

China evs are in theory worse for the environment since they are indirectly coal powered

We shouldn’t build any more EV charging stations because people do not want electric vehicles.
We had an election two weeks ago. Learn to read the room!
