Thread regarding TransUnion layoffs

New culture? A farce!

There's been lots of talk about 'the new culture' in the last year or so. You know, this nonsense about acting like a startup? And not doing any planning? Except for the fact that we work in a highly regulated environment with demanding customers. The customers don't want to see half-a-s stuff in production that doesn't work. There are so many people that actually know the work that needs to happen but they aren't being talked to. Each person is running scared to crazy schedules for fear of their jobs. And what's being built isn't good because they're moving too fast to think things through. As an employee, it's horrible. As a stakeholder, it is distressing.

And then you mandate training on listening?

How's this working out per Cartwright?

"As part of that effort, we are transitioning certain roles to our successful Global Capability Centers (GCCs) to improve productivity, save costs and fund growth,” TransUnion said in a statement Tuesday.

Famous excerpt from Chris in March 2024.

100% agree. If you are taking about onetru, half the time something is broken on it. It's so hard to watch and support or feel good about work.
