Why were you selected? Where you on any performance improvement plans? Was your entire department eliminated or were you 1 of few chosen? Did you have any HR incidents? Manager didn't like you there's more questions than answers.

If you sign it, take it and go.
If you were let go because you were not in office/ manager approved wfh/time off - with unlimited...
I'd fight for what's right.
This 3/5 that turned to 4/1 was never documented and should be fought for!

"If you are one of top performers and you have someone on your team who is on work visa or requires sponsorship, then I would say yes as they need to have solid reason why they are letting US citizens go and keeping folks from other countries. "
You mean Indians. My department is a little New Delhi. And they only promote their own.
As ugly as it is...come on now...this is what, the twelfth "RIF" event since the ascension of Fearless Leader? No one was able to challenge the legality or process in years of this kind of action...the corporate lawyers and HR hawks know to cover the appropriate bases. Totally understand the emotion and outrage...but you can't honestly continue to be shocked by mindless cuts at Fiserv anymore can you? FB has one tool in his toolbox...maybe two if you count dropping cash to rub shoulders with cool athletes...

Depends on how you were laid off. If you were in a group that got severance and signed you are on for a term period of time for the cash. They don't have to report to WARN. It's a loophole in the WARN Act.
Yes. I believe the company violated the WARN act. The DOL (Dept of Labor) does not investigate WARN act violations - and it must be done by an employee filing with a lawyer (either individual or class action) Someone on here put the number at over 700 laid off...which is a violation.
