What a trance. That hair is mesmerizing! I’m not even sure what he said.

Honestly I'm hopeful this guy can turn things around. He was at least honest and didn't blow smoke telling us how great their strategy is. He said we have problems that need to be addressed but he's committed to turning things around. In the past, we've only had people lie to us. We all know the company is in trouble but it's refreshing we have a leader willing to admit it. We need to give him a chance - he's only been on the job for 2 weeks so he's probably still scratching his head wondering 'how could you bozo's have sc--wed up THIS bad'?!

Do you have insights into Aetna's townhall or are you the same troll that spends your days making racist and political remarks, non-essential bs, to flame and gas light current real employees or former employees?

You seem to be a common flame thrower with no proof of ever working for Aetna or CVS. Here's your chance to say something real without piggy backing on someone else's real information troll.

@vcg+1vAWS9ku statements is fear mongering and trying to use personal determents as a factor to not layoff employees because of their personal circumstances. It's a business not welfare. They don't look into your personal circumstances to a reason not to lay you off or to lay you off in spite of your circumstances.

"Getoffthealcohol", you're the one that's over your head. Stay on topic of the threads.

The point is above your head. There are everyday people being laid off for the next person to come in grab money and leave. Read the thread id--t. If you don't think favorites kept their jobs due to that hostile workplace you're insane.

@vcg+1vAWS9ku everyone can have problems in their personal life. What does that have to do with Aetna townhall and layoffs? This is a business not welfare or a mental health facility.
They're not targeting people with a bad home life id--t.

Yup they layoff single parents. People leaving abusive marriages. People trying to own even a single home. People trying to pay off student loans.

LD on up should feel ashamed of themselves, but that would require a conscience.

What the h#@$?!?!?! He comes in dressed like he's ready to go out for the night!! Why not just leave your button down shirts completely unbuttoned???

He is quite the smoothe talker. He doesn't need this job but he took it because it's easy money (and a lot) for him!! Of course, he took this job over the others he was offered (according to him) because Aetna or CVS Health Aetna (or whatever we are called) won him over with a lot of money. He isn't going to do a da#@ thing to get Aetna out of this hole. He's going to hang around for a year and take his money and run, saying...See ya, suc$@&#!!! It was all about him!!

I agree with most of these comments. He comes off like Obama with his smoothe talk. Yea I like your house on the water...wish I could afford a new fridge steve. I'm so over this company. Over the big wigs making bad decisions then telling us we need to band together. FU. You're getting nothing out of me.

There has been so much turnover and reorgs since Bertolini left, I can't even remember the names of VPs, EVPs, Presidents anymore...

Who was the guy Karen sacked before she was sacked?

It's a goddam Monty Python skit at this point.

It's Aetna hall for you CVS people who don't pay attention to the announcements, CVS net, and news.

Here's my take away. Another competitor coming to whip Aetna "losers" into shape (no mention of a plan on how or why to begin with). He states "his priorities" but doesn't really say what those "priorities" are. He doesn't give a strategy on anything to do with Aetna's healthcare side but makes jabs at how we are one company "CVS". Brags about UnitedHealth but really doesn't tell us of how he elevated UnitedHealth or his accomplishments at UnitedHealth. At the same time telling Aetna they "can do better", in the same statement make Aetna "great again". Very wishy-washy statements all over the place.
He took a dig at hybrid by telling us instead of being on a zoom call at our cubicles go grab another employee on a zoom meeting and go to a meeting room to conduct the zoom call. How fu--ing mo--nic. BTW we're on TEAMs not zoom and we have those meetings because not everyone is in the same fu--ing time zones or home buildings, and we need teams regardless of in office or not to share but ok ja----s yeah I'll grab some id--t in the cubicles.
He made zero mentions of our 30% reduction due to MBR and everyone was too chicken sh-t to ask. But he did say we had to su-k it up and work together. Btw, Medicaid sector should not be held accountable for MBR we get reimbursed by the Medicaid programs through our encounters. The more members who have claims is actually a good thing for Medicaid, that's why we fight for the RFPs to get as much enrollment as we can away from competitors like UHC. So, where's the fu-k our full bonsus?
There was token questions of course but nothing really substantial. I did have to do a double take on that Aferican American mentioning "brown sugar". He didn't handle that so well. You could tell he was really trying the avoid the political hostiles.

So, to wrap it up... just another gawd damn rich a--hole with no plan. There's them and then there's US mentality.

Our new President..

Really? I didn't elect this guy.

They are gonna bring in people from UHC. I know people over there who are sending in resumes already. When Aetna bought Coventry, they moved people out. When people from Humana and Anthem came over. They brought their people.
What do you think is happening here?

For those of us not watching? Were flags involved? Did we have to pledge allegiance to Aetna? Was there a song?

Did they hand out porridge at the end?

Having to prompt the audience multiple times with an “Are you with me” sums up our future perfectly. Hard to believe they let him out looking like that and unprepared.
