I hope you land on your feet soon. The rest of us can just hold on to a promise that this will be it for the rest of this year. How the planned spending cuts for the period leading up to 2027 will play out remains to be seen. Higher education has been going through a crisis, and the reduction in job opportunities ultimately affects all of us negatively.

For sure happy to still be employed... but no salary increase and no 403B contributions are tough pills to swallow.
HigherEd is in a tough spot, but this is self inflicted, between DEI, sports, and other nonsense, vs. focusing on outcomes and future proofing the curriculum!!
