All countries are setting for their reduction in immigration targets for upcoming years mainly till 2027 or 2028. This is to protect employment for residents and improve immigrant quality and only fresh talent in upcoming AI or new technologies.
If you are in visa , better stay in strong hold or plan for your return ahead in case you get laid off.

OP: you wish. Corporations will continue hiring the cheapest and most desperate so-called talent. Most of my US and UK colleagues are on visas - they are ready to eat sh-t to stay. This is extremely prevalent at places like Citi, which is strapped for cash.
