SDE rebranded to velo cloud and functions within SDE being moved to VCF.
During the SDE all hands yesterday nothing could be said but hours later an email out from Hawk.
What is it? 11 months in? No one knows what they are doing!!

VCF will be the only remaining VMware BU. Everything else will be sold off or collapsed into VCF. Just a matter of time. Employee efficiencies will continue. Playbook being executed just like CA and Symantec.
The Chinese real estate implosion won't stop. No jobs in China. Real estate was a major driver of the Chinese economy for decades as they built the ghost cities. A major source of revenue for the provincial governments. I am not sure how Broadcom is still having so much revenues in China. Apple Chinese revenues are being openly questioned. Everyone seems to be holding their breadth for the US elections. The 20 million illegals will take a while to be productive. Israel wants to retaliate. Zelinsky is itching to have a climax. It feels like something big is coming soon. TSLA reported lower revenues but higher earnings. They squeezed the TSLA big shorts like Bill Gates one last time. Overall looks NVDA and AVGO and APPL are exhausted. Hope the bubble lasts for our next RSU vest in mid December.

VMW had 38k and BC had 24k, now BC has 37k in total. Where is the guy that keep saying plan is to get down to 7000 VMW employees. With SDE almost gone that is another 1000 gone. So 12K VMW left now. Only 5K more to be played off in the next couple of quarter.
While VCF teams come to office, SDE still do remote work. That explains SDEs future in Broadcom.
Never seen a more bizzare reorg announcement. What does it even mean? Are we now going to see just random reassignment of people every few months? Just keep the peoples guessing and stressing about where they will be moved? Hock is totally losing it. Who is running Broadcom? Cognitive decline is exponential at this stage.
Everyone in VMware will be laidoff. The writing is on the wall. Just 10% will remain to keep maintain what is already there.
