This week marks a year since they started layoffs. Teams are drowning because they have let people go and people have chosen to walk away because they are in a toxic relationship with their employer and higher ups are ignoring the low morale or they just don’t care. WRS is dropping the ball causing travelers to be cancelled or pushed but we’re being told they’re doing a great job. Sales no longer sees credentialing as people they are now the scapegoats for everything that goes wrong because they need to yell at someone. I used to have hope things would turn around but now I’m just waiting for a callback for an interview or an offer. This company has lost the respect of all employees. The FAQ sent out was a joke thanks for 0 transparency and no answers to any of the questions but it’s not like we expected anything else. We were told that the company wide surveys are being taken seriously but the negative stuff they can’t do anything about so those are getting ignored and the results are great after that so it’s nice to see they really care about their employees concerns. Again not like anything else was expected from this dumpster fire of a company.

There is hope, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. After my layoff in February I was broken and devastated but I now have doors opening that I only dreamed about just a couple of years ago. Your current situation is only a stepping stone and you will reach the other side. Keep the faith, remember who you are, and put one foot in front of the other.
I honestly didn't think anything would truly come out of those surveys. Like how do you "fix" a company that is already broken beyond repair?! The fact that they hype up sales so much, but can't see the company is literally failing, no one is happy, many have left or trying to leave, morale is so low, and so much damage has been done to the point where NO ONE wants to stay and work for this company - they are missing so many issues here and you can only avoid for so long. The company is its own demise.
I'm so happy for the employees that have gotten out and started a new chapter. Hopefully that is bringing you peace, joy, and a sense of belonging again. Once you leave the toxic behind, it truly does get better.
