Bloomingdale’s or Kohls… please choose one

Tony is trying to elevate all levels of the Macys brand from the colleagues to the store environment, but we as a company, will never succeed until we eliminate or at least reduce the number of entry level price points. The amount of “jm” in the stores is obscene, we mark it down, move it to
Last Act, then place it in the stock room, praying for a penny pull. We can’t be kohls and Bloomingdale’s. Tony, make a decision.

Elevate “the brand”? That is ludicrous - managers and sales associates dress for work as if they had just gotten done washing their car or cleaning their house. The way that “the brand” is represented at the store level is deplorable - “Own Your Style” taken to an entirely new level - basically I don’t give a c*** about the way I look or the store I work in looks, and it shows. Start by looking in the mirror and there may be a glimmer of hope for Macy’s.

If the store doesn’t look like a Bloomingdale’s, you’re out!
