Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Layoffs are always happening

Layoffs are happening all the time, but they’re subtle. Just one or two people here and there, so it easily flies under the radar. If you ask around, you’ll hear the stories. Don’t get too comfortable or think you're safe. Things are far from stable and will remain like this for a while.

Great advice / you will come out ahead skipping severance and letting your attorney take care of everything

How much more can I get with this approach

Don’t sign severance agreement if you think you can sue and get a settlement that is more than the severance amount. The only reason companies provide severance when they RIF you is so you don’t sue
