Unless it happens soon, I’ll leave on my own. I’ve been with the company for a while. I’ve always been part of great teams, and probably have an exceptionally positive experience with regard to coworkers. I progressed professionally and have been decently compensated. Nothing outstanding, but decent. It’s not Marathon, or my colleagues, or my management. I’m just totally burnt out and I need a change. As a veteran, I would say that 5-7 years with one company is the maximum before you grow restless, bored or burnt out.

Will Marathon be offering a Volunteer Severance Package? That should be done for the employees that have been at the company for a long time or employees in high grades.
Similar experience but shorter tenure. I got to be part of a really cool team with lots of great people. How ever that team got its culture to be how it was, I appreciate it. In the long run, it was probably a good thing MRO sold because, I might have ended up sticking around for longer than I should; missing out on opportunities for pay raises at other companies.
