Been reflecting on how my life has improved over the past 4 years since I quit the Cisco/ShitNaMedia pile of garbage, when a friend reached out to say how disappointing it was to survive another round of layoffs today.
I felt the same way in 2020 as I survived them all. Fortunately I was already looking for another gig and found something right between the bonus payout and the review cycle going into 21.
To not get laidoff there after a while must be like the 10th circle of he-l or something now. Just cruel and unusual punishment.
For those in this boat my heart goes out to you. But you know what you got to do.
Senza has little chance of becoming a successful business any time soon. It's a technology w4nkfest for a few enthusiasts. If that's not true then show us the orders. Not the pres releases, not the trials, not the lighthouse bs, but the actual cold hard cash coming in.
Its only true value is to show _potential_ growth as a way to bump up the overall valuation. But don't leave it any longer, otherwise it will disappear like tears in the wind.
Comcast seem happy with EntOS deployed in over eight territories and more to come
Seen a lot of press on Senza...to those in the know..is the revenue pipeline healthy??? Do you think Comcast would be interested in it? Synamedia does have all the contacts through its BT business, which I assume is where they will be pushing Senza
Development costs are sunk costs and do not matter now. The question is if the company is now cash-flow positive, or will be due to this product.
Senza’s going to have to make $M very quickly to even cover the development costs let alone turn a profit. The PE company are either in for a far longer term than originally expected or hoping for significant early bookings and them get out quickly and cut the loses.
Assuming Senza revenue starts to grow, I do wonder who might be interested in acquiring them
They are probably thinking the same thing!
