Anyone know if David’s appointment to CEO and changes to the ELT will affect RTO policies? Anyone know their stances?

For the love of God can we please be adults and move forward already?
At this point we really don't need performative bs. What we need is to be focused on the business before there is no more business. For that we're going to need top talent that is fully committed and engaged.
As opposed to spending so much time and energy on something that isn't helping anyone and is actively driving disengagement and straight up resentment.
Real easy way to win everyone over whilst lowering overhead.
Let's see if we actually have a change of leadership.
If they are actually serious about turning the ship around this is where it starts.
Peluso and Lynch were the ones who pushed RTO. Now back to reality.. we’ve proven wfh works just fine, remember Covid?
The commercial real estate crash is a real thing coming.
Imagine if they converted all this unused office space to housing all the laid off people they sc--wed...
Need to change this bullsh-t policy asap
Its ridiculous
I think there are offices all over the country that are going to close soon. Doesn’t help the people assigned to Hartford or Woonsocket, but for lots of people around the country who were having to go in just for the sake of a badge swipe there may be relief coming soon.
If they want to put the office space to productive use they should start an incubator and use that for development of those pie in the sky projects. Let the entrepreneurs develop those costly PoCs and MVPs.
Not as long as the governor of CT stops whining about Hartford historical building and CT employees. He doesn't want to see the tourism to the building home and it be an eye sore to Hartford as nobody wants to maintain it
It would be nice for the on sites to run out there leases and down size to salelite buildings.
The smart money move would be to consolidate and sell the excess real estate assets, and embrace WFH as Microsoft has wisely done.
No idea but the finance building is half full and on the 3rd floor 1/2 of that is completely gutted….
Seems like such a waste to heat/light up that building and those of us that prefer remote could very easily be remote and remove the building off the liabilities list.
Please, yes, I'm already sick to death of commuting to the office, where none of my team physically is anyway, so I can hop on Teams and otherwise be blasted by the speaker-phone calls, ring tones, and loud-a** talking of the people stuffed into the cubes around me.
I don't think it's gonna change, though. :(
