@Governance. Once upon a time Aetna had process improvement groups. But you nailed it. Lots of I know this person whose buddy needs a job. Hey can you hire my sisters dog? She can code... You interview them, not even knowing they are underqualified because fake resume sent to hr...awful. Then you have people leading IT projects that wouldn't know sql from sequel...but got by on taking credit for others wins.
Haha I feel you @imx+1v8RmGtP. I'll add my two cents. Can someone let the CEO, Tilak, DDAT, Informatics, DBAs, BAs archetics, data engineers, and the other sideling "techies" out there know just because you know how to code sql and create massive rogue RPA automation does not mean you are improving the company.
What's laughable is the people they hired for AI. Sure sure AI iand RPA is great but you are missing the steps of predictably tasks, standards, cohesion, and governance, Without that operations will remain a stink o hole of chaos with low level performance and management. Which is honestly the powers to be because if you take that away from them they might actually let their buddies they hired and temps go. We need processes improvement before automation and AI.
Trust me I cus every time intake of data is sent through Outlook, PMO list, SharePoint, onedrive, share drive, rando portals etc I destain the people who actually prefer d-mb
