I have been hearing for the past ten days or so about a couple of people being let go here and there, but it’s been happening consistently and across the board. Judging from how many people have been reporting that they have been laid off or lost people in their teams on different boards and on the rumors going around, layoffs have amounted to quite a number. Does anyone have a general idea as to how many people have been affected and for how long this apparent wave of layoffs will last?

25% of sales force in CMS was let go in NA. Entire teams from SVPs down to AEs were let go or put on “continued employment”.
It is bad. Leadership is pushing AI without knowing the relevance in some area.

- Dinosaurs who have been there for more than 30+ years for sure were eliminated. Some were forced to take early retirement and some were caught by surprised.
The layoffs started after Ryan bwcamw CEO. The first round was mainly VPs and SVPs. Every 60 days a batch of people were let go. I know of people let go in March, May & November of 2023.
The layoffs started again in February 2024. People were let go in June, July, August, and September. This will likely continue weekly unttil Nov. 11.
The amount of people let go this year is the highest I've seen at Visa. Definitely higher than 2016.
People are fired even at SVP level per my internal. Lot of changes in product, tech side. Confusing times
