I try to spend some time every work day working on my resume and talking to potential employers. On company time, of course.
Expect layoffs and outsourcing to continue, becoming part of the company routine.
Do not get comfortable or complacent! Always have an out and be looking elsewhere, most importantly, save your pennies! This company will do everything to justify "work elimination" all while the upper echelon continues to reap the benefits.
Accenture might as well do the work since there is less and less employees to do the work anyway.
Naveen and others in similar roles should leave, as they are undermining the IT organization. If I were a new university graduate reading this, I would definitely consider other companies.
Anyone else would have resigned in shame and embarrassment by now but not Gogo, the Chief Legal Officer, and Z.
Nothing shames them.
We might as well call the company Accenture, considering they seem to be taking over everything.
