What's the point of laying people off just to save some cash when the same problematic leaders remain in charge? A lot of executives who’ve made poor decisions for way too long are still at Intel - starting with Pat - keeping their cushy salaries and benefits. Most of them should’ve been shown the door ages ago.

Analysts are expecting a Q3 loss of -0.27 per share with revenue just over $13 billion. I think that both of those are lofting estimates but if Intel somehow fails to meet that low bar it will be a disaster for the stock. In either case, the QPB will be the minimum .
